Our Main Focus!

In 2007, we developed a series of skills development programs for marginalised communities in audio visual, digital media, marketing, 4IR and more. These programs have been very successful at helping people get jobs in these fields.

Building our Digital and 4th Industrial Revolution Community

With its focus on Building, our Digital and 4th Industrial Revolution Community the YMM successfully ran workshops in 2020 with 100 learners, teachers, and parents, and another accredited course for 30 differently enabled people (also called People with Disabilities) in Building and maintaining 3-D printers and Drones (including flying the drones) and continues to offer training for learners in film and video-making, a key skill needed in the 21st Century world of telling stories visually.

I wasn't initially sure whether any of my code would measure up to the other learners' code I saw on the website, but I still gave it a shot. The way my training board helped me track my development quite astonished meMy Training Board has great potential for Mitchells Plain youth who want to learn things in the IT Industry. Courses are filled with information and quizzes to test your knowledge of each lesson.

My training board was initially a little slow and confusing. With the assistance of tech support and YouTube videos, the faults were eventually rectified, and we became accustomed to the situation. It became more challenging, but with clear explanations, videos, and technical support, it was a fun experience and worth it. I started to enjoy the classes and couldn't wait for them.

In the beginning, it was a bit of a struggle moving forward on the website but once the issue's were resolved everything moved alone easily and efficiently.
